The State Team consists of the highest 6 All-Around finishers at each level regardless of their age group. Toi Garcia was named the Maryland Outstanding Gymnast of the Year at Level 10 for her accomplishments both in and out of the gym. She overcame a devastating injury a few years ago and fought back to earn a full athletic scholarship to Auburn University where she will join their gymnastics team in the fall of 2009. This was the last State Competition for our seniors, including Rachel Fincham, who will be attending NC State University in the fall on a full scholarship, and Jenna White who is still deciding which college she will compete for after she graduates. We wish them all the best of luck as they move on to the next phase of their journey in both education and gymnastics.
Docksiders wishes the best of luck to all of our gymnasts at their Regional Competitions! For more information regarding Docksiders Team and other programs offered check out our website at www.docksidersgymnastics.com.
